Privacy Policy
Last updated September 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data TerminalEdge collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to the TerminalEdge website and app. The data controller is Edu Prado Sounds Ltd, a company registered in Ireland, trading as TerminalEdge (“we,” “us”).
1. Data we collect
Account data — your name and email, and a securely hashed password. Billing data — subscription status and history; card payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store full card numbers. Usage data — features used, AI usage counts, and watchlist. Technical data — IP address, device/browser, and cookies/analytics identifiers.
2. How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, process payments, personalize AI features to your watchlist, communicate with you (service messages and, with your consent, product updates), analyze and improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, with your consent (e.g., marketing and non-essential cookies), and to meet legal obligations.
4. Service providers
We share data with processors that run the Service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Twelve Data (market data), Alpaca (news), Anthropic (AI features), Resend (email), and analytics providers. These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that protect your information. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and, subject to consent where required, analytics and advertising tools (including the Meta Pixel) to understand usage and measure campaigns. You can control non-essential cookies via our consent banner and your browser settings.
6. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal and accounting requirements.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and request portability. To exercise these rights, contact us. You may also withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU/EEA and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; our lead authority is the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
8. Security and international transfers
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. Our providers may process data in other countries under appropriate safeguards. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy; material changes will be communicated where reasonable. Questions or requests: support@terminaledge.ai.
